“I missed you too… you and your ever changing array of hair colors… How was the dragon slaying? I’m sure my fiancee is a big hero now?” She grinned and rested her head against his chest.
“Nah-we’re just getting them settled and checked over so they can guard Askaban.” Ted shuffled around so the Toire was in his arms and they both were lying in each other arms,
“But you know-Sir Theodore Lupin, the Dragon Slayer has a nice ring to it…” Then his skin shivered for a moment like dragon scales.
“Actually. I was-“ he kissed her, “In severe Withdraw.” He smiled and kissed her deeply,”I’m addicted to you.”
“Three day’s?” he laughed looking up at her,
“But-what if I have to be away for weeks hunting bad wizards?” then at this they both were silent for a moment. They neither wanted to admit it but there was going to be a time when Ted had to go out on life threatening missions.
“I’ll be safe I promise.” Then Toire traced her fingers on hiss tattoo, the one with the flames, permanently glowing with his words of love and devotion embedded into his skin.
